Dr Shruti Jamnadass

Dr Shruti Jamnadass is a Clinical Psychologist who has completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University College London. She has extensive experience in the NHS and charitable sector, working with a range of ages and presentations. She is particularly experienced in working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, low mood and who have faced trauma. She has also worked with people experiencing voices, visions and unusual beliefs and who may be presenting with severe and enduring difficulties.

Shruti is trained in evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). Shruti uses a warm, non-judgemental, compassionate approach to ensure that therapy is tailored to the individual by considering their goals. She adapts therapy to the individual’s needs and considers the wider context, including relationships and culture.

Shruti works to empower individuals by bringing her expertise to the therapy room whilst recognising that the individual is the expert in their experience. She is passionate about supporting others and uses a strengths-based approach to help individuals develop awareness, understanding and coping skills in a safe, confidential space.
